For the beach lovers, Sunset Beach, NC is a short 5 mile drive to the warm and calm, shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean. All the sights and entertainment it has to offer are literally a 15 to 30 minute drive to whatever your heart desires for the day. The Myrtle Beach Jetport is our closest airport and is about a 35 minute drive from Calabash, utilizing the convenience of Highway 31 on the West side of the Intracoastal Waterway to save valuable time. You can be stepping out onto the beach sand within an hour of arriving in Myrtle Beach. If you have your own private plane, you can always opt for the small airport at Ocean Isle Beach, NC conveniently located about 5 miles from Calabash.
