This beautiful home & property are located right on the Intracoastal Waterway. It is not a canal house. It has beautiful wide-open views of the waterway and the 50-acre marsh next door. It has a wonderful tidal creek that wraps around 2 sides of the house that is great for kayaking, bait fishing & nature watching. It has its own private pier, floating dock & gazebo right over the waterway offering both sunrise & sunset views up and down the waterway. Seeing the yacht migration in spring and fall never gets old. This home is located within a 5 minute walk along the marsh & by the General Store / Haley's Ice Cream to a beach access. There is a wonderful pool right off the Grand Central Hangout area on the ground floor including a TV room, ping pong room, full bathroom & kitchenette area. This hangout area opens up to the outdoors via 3 overhead doors to creek & marsh views. The ground level of this home is a significant asset.There is a bunk room that sleeps 4 in addition to the other 4 bedrooms. Children love it, but it is nice enough for adults too. It has 10 large drawers for belongings and direct access to a balcony overlooking the waterway & creek. All bedrooms have direct access to various balconies. All 4 bedrooms have walk-in closets & direct access bathrooms. There's a half bath in the hall to service bunk room. There are 5 showers including one outside. The heart of pine flooring throughout the house was reclaimed from a 100 yr old tobacco barn & is original to the house. The flooring has never been refinished and gives the home a casual comfortable feeling. This house would make a great permanent home or vacation rental.
